WANBOROUGH VILLAGE HALL

St Bartholomew's is a small and lovely flint-stone church originally built around 1060 replacing an earlier wooden Saxon church. It was rebuilt in the 13th century, restored in 1861 and is a Grade 1 listed building. The Friends of Wanborough Church raise funds for its upkeep.

PUTTENHAM GOLF CLUB

A charitable organisation, we are a bunch of volunteers with the need for lifts for older residents forming the bulk of our volunteer assistance, along with prescription collection and shopping for the housebound. We try to identify those most in need of assistance and, now we have no village centres in the form of shops, we also provide occasions where residents can meet up.

We exist to promote love of gardens, plants and gardening in a friendly social environment. You do not have to have a garden or know anything about plants to join us. We are a well established club, affiliated to the RHS, and with over 150 members.
